People Watching While Waiting

Standard

I haven’t written anything for a while.  I’ve been fishing and have caught shad, herring, white perch and crappie.  I also went to Lake Anna and caught eight largemouth bass and warmouths.  The man who took me also caught fish.  He caught the largest—2 lbs. 10 oz.  The bass were mostly between 1 ½ lbs. to 2 lbs.

My wife posts my blogs, and I was giving her a break because she was editing my fourth book in the Dan Stanley series.  She ordered a proof copy and is going over it.  She did a fabulous job on the cover.  By Design will be available soon!

Right now I’m at Virginia Urology waiting for Badona, and I have time to write.  The waiting room here is full.  One lady is playing on her laptop.  Another lady has a purse that is two feet long.  When she picked it up, you could see the muscles in her arm.  My wife loses things in her purse.  This one must be a black hole!  Two other ladies are playing on their phones and another one is constantly talking on hers.  The man next to me is asleep.  Three people are reading books.  There is a heavy-set man whose head keeps bobbing.  No one is interested in communicating or at least talking to me.  I’ve been waiting a long time.  Many people who went in after Badona have already come out and left.

Well, I’m going to try to talk to someone again.  Till next time. . . .
